Fair Free Trade . . .

( A Sustainable Jobs Initiative )

The Common Situation

We in the USA set many: quality, safety, health, environment and wage standards

We can not set all these regulations and requirements and not expect that thousands of US American factories, millions of US American jobs, billions of US American dollars, and now the interest and obligation on trillions of US American debt would not be exported in the name of Free Trade.

We do not need more quotas, or tariffs.  We only need Fair Free Trade, a level playing field for the US American worker to compete on for the USA market.

Fair Free Trade can not be construed as interfering in the internal affairs of another country, as all countries producers and providers would be free to determine for themselves if they want to export to the USA market or not.

Fair Free Trade (Not Balanced Trade - Exporting a billion dollars of raw materials and importing a billion dollars of Made In China consumer goods does not return jobs to US Americans.) would bring factories, and jobs back to the USA. It would put money in the hands of our domestic consumers, and directly into the hands of foreign consumers that could then buy more “Made In The USA” products.

Yes it would increase prices in the USA, but it would also return and increase incomes to the middle class in the USA, and increase the numbers of those in the USA who would have sustainable jobs.

The Common Searches/Observations

Has anyone stopped to analyze why the New Deal Public Works Programs worked to lift this country out of the Great Depression, and why the current Stimulus Package Public Works Programs are not working to lift our country out of the Great Recession?

New Deal Public Works Programs for the most part: Used USA Materials that increased demand for

more USA products and services, Paid USA Workers, who purchased more US products and services, and was financed by USA Investors, who were paid interest that they reinvested in the USA.

The current Stimulus Package Public Works Programs for the most part: Uses Imported Materials and/or Products, Pay USA and Imported Workers, who purchase Imported Products, and are mostly financed with Imported Capital from Foreign Investors who are paid interest that they use to invest in Other Countries.

Fair-Free-Trade!  Where all exports-imports to any given market must meet at least ALL minimum production/providing standards of: quality, safety, health, environment, and wages of the importing country. This would level the competitive field, reduce fuel usage and return livable wage maker jobs to US Americans, thus increase our labor's disposable income to continue to buy “Made In The USA” goods and services. It would increase the disposable incomes of the populaces of other countries, thus increasing their ability to buy “Made In The USA” exports.

It would be the greatest AID program the U. S. A. ever came up with, as it would require Foreign Governments, if they want to export to the USA, to actually distribute monies in wages to their populace, (not put it into military build up) and we could not be accused of interfering in the internal affairs of any other country, as all countries would be FREE to choose whether or not they want to export to the U.S.A. market under these terms and conditions.

The Common Concern

Not until a USA national policy of Fair Free Trade is adopted, where Made In The USA products and services have a competitive chance in the USA market place, will factories, and jobs return, dollars stay in the USA, and our economy experience a sustainable turn around.

No one in our local and national Governments is even talking about the option of adopting a policy of Fair Free Trade. That all products and services offered for sale in the USA market must be produced and/or provided in accordance with all USA: quality, safety, health, environment and wage standards.

The Common Solution

Using the same methodology and procedures that the Free Traders use to establish “Free Ports” in counties around the country we must use to establish “County Wide Fair Free Trade Zones” through out our states and our nation.  Where all products and services offered for sale within any given county’s market must be produced and/or provided in accordance with all USA: quality, safety, health, environment, and wage standards.

To become effective by state when three fourths of the counties of any state ratify the resolution, and to become effective nationally when three fourths of the states ratify the resolution.

For The Fair Free Trade movement to simultaneously overcome it must have:

-Vision Statement

            To be determined locally.

- Objectives

            To be determined locally.

- Strategy

            To be determined locally.

Proposed Action Strategy

For Creating County Wide Fair Free Trade Zones

1.  Seek out two other friends and/or family from your social network that agree with the concept of establishing a County Wide Fair Free Trade Zone in your county.

2.  Once you have clustered together a triad of like minded individuals who are willing to manifest their opinions and convictions, draft a request to your local County Commissioners requesting them to declare your county a “County Wide Fair Free Trade Zone” from border to border to become effective on the day three fourths of the counties in your state ratify similar resolutions.

3.  Be persistent, not confrontational.   Do not expect your first attempts to succeed.  When rejected seek out other likeminded manifestants and encourage them to submit the proposal for the creation of “County Wide Fair Free Trade Zones” again, and again, until community support coalesces to the point that it becomes politically expedient for your County Commissioners to act.

4.  Request that a County Fair Free Trade Board be established. That includes representation from all segments of society: Personal, Familial, Social/Communal, Educational, Spiritual, Economical, and Governmental.  The manner in which this Board is to be selected is to be determined locally.

5.  Request that once the resolution has been ratified by three fourths of the counties state wide, that a State Fair Free Trade Board be established. That includes representation from all segments of society: Personal, Familial, Social/Communal, Educational, Spiritual, Economical, and Governmental.  This State Fair Free Trade Board to be selected at a state wide convention of the County Fair Free Trade Boards.  The delegates from each segment of society are to select their respective representatives to the State Fair Free Trade Board. The State Fair Free Trade Conventions to be held, no more frequently than every three years, no less frequently than every five years.

6.  Request that once the resolution has been ratified by thee fourths of the counties state wide, that your county establishes a special Fair Free Trade Enforcement Unit in your current County Law Enforcement Department.

7.  The Boards and Enforcement to be funded by a five percent surcharge on all non USA made products  or non USA provided services imported/utilized into any given county by any given retailer or user.  Surcharge to be collected locally, no more than ten percent of collected amount to be forwarded to State, and no more than ten percent of States receipts to be forwarded to National.

8. Once the resolution has been ratified by three fourths of the states nation wide, a National Fair Free Trade Board is to be established. That includes representation from all segments of society: Personal, Familial, Social/Communal, Educational, Spiritual, Economical, and Governmental.  This National Fair Free Trade Board to be selected at a nation wide convention of the State Fair Free Trade Boards.  The delegates from each segment of society are to select their respective representatives to the National Fair Free Trade Board. The National Fair Free Trade Conventions to be held, no more frequently than every three years, no less frequently than every five years.

9.  What are the market’s minimum USA production/providing standards of: quality, safety, health, environment, and wages are to be determined by the National Fair Free Trade Board.  That National Fair Free Trade Board is to determine if Trade Agreements and products/services offered for sale in the USA market meet all minimum USA production/providing standards of: quality, safety, health, environment, and wages, and inform local County Law Enforcement officials.
